Mandarin Court - Sligo

Has to be the best Chinese in sligo. It's a bit on the pricey side, but you can tell you're getting your moneys worth with the quality of the produce.

ABSOLUTELY SUPERB Myself and my husband had a meal here yesterday evening it was absolutely gorgeous !!!! I thought I died and went to heaven when I tasted The Crispy fried duck !!!! IT WAS TO DIE FOR husband had the special chow mein it was beautiful,, we both had the combination starter between us it was the nicest ever,, not to mention the deserts they were delicious, I have to say the staff in this restaurant are brilliant hard-working and always a smile on their face,, and nothing is too much trouble,, and the service is brilliant, cannot wait to go there again, every time we go there we keep thinking it cannot be any better, than the last time but it always surprises us, thank you very much to all the staff who worked so hard to make the food especially beautiful

Had been recommended this Chinese by a colleague and I had to try it based on that. Food was only meh. Ordered spring rolls to share, no flavour, very bland. Ordered beef black bean sauce chicken sweet sour. Beef was so tough most of it had to be thrown out. Chicken was ok but it was quite dry. Noodles rice were the sides. I've eaten in far more superior Chinese restaurants. Very little choice on the menu either

Hands down the most consistent restaurant in Sligo in terms of quality and taste. You will never be disappointed by a meal/takeaway from the Mandarin. Has been in business for over forty years and there is a reason why it is still on the go; it can’t be matched!! Having lived in London for 7 years, I never once found a Chinese restaurant that could match the tastiness of the Mandarin. A hidden gem in the center of Sligo town (It might be hard found by tourists, but it is definitely worth the search if tasty Chinese food is what you’re after). The chicken curry is a firm favourite in our household!!

I have been going to the Mandarin Court for years. I have never tasted Chinese food as good anywhere else and believe me I have tried lots of different restaurants! The food is always so tasty, hot, great menu and the portions so plentiful. The staff are lovely. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. A hidden gem in Sligo town and a must go to for food lovers! My guilty pleasure every Saturday!
