Jalan Jalan - Sligo
Jalan Jalan
Description
Jalan Jalan offers a mix of opinions from customers, with some disappointed by the lack of authentic Malaysian and Asian flavors, while others praise the generous portions and friendly service. Vegan options are available, but be cautious of potential mix-ups with non-vegan ingredients. The ambiance is noisy but the food quality is consistently good, with some customers hailing it as a truly authentic Asian dining experience. Overall, Jalan Jalan provides a taste of Asia in Sligo, with some room for improvement in terms of authenticity and customer service.

Great service, great food, great portions. Busy at lunch time always a good sign. Had the Mee Goreng, which is fried noodles in Malay while not truly authentic Malaysian flavours, still very tasty without being too salty. Will definitely return and recommend.
Excellent Asian restaurant with a huge selection: having tried several dishes, we thoroughly enjoyed them! Not cheap, but not exorbitantly priced either.
We had sweet chilli Thai chicken here. The food was great. The portions are gigantic! The staff were helpful. The music was not too loud. Bathrooms were clean. The atmosphere is generally nice but it's a small restaurant so your table is actually every close to others.
Found this on my trip in sligo and I was in love with the duck soup (Ipoh Kari Duck noodle soup) I wanna come back to sligo just for this! Could be even better if the duck was maybe outside to keep the crispy all meal long.
Delicious vegan dinner for two, large main portions and freshly cooked. Tofu was excellent; we had Japanese teriyaki tofu with boiled rice and tofu massaman curry with fried rice. The accompaniments could be customised and mixed. Excellent service and the waitress handled the peanut allergy very well. Would recommend! Thanks all!
