Indian food is one of my favorite cuisines and I've had a lot of it in my life. This was some of the best. We hard a hard time choosing among all the options, so my husband and I opted to go for it: we had Prawn Biryani, Daal, Aloo Gobi, Veggie Potato Curry, Veggie Korma, GOC Naan, Chili Naan (warning: SO SPICY HOT), Goat Cheese Kulcha, Roti, Poppadoms, and Rice. It was enough food for people, so needless to say, the... View all feedback.
What Rachchic dislikes about Poppadom:
Food was lovely and they were very busy for take away, so the locals like it. I had a lamb dish with mushrooms and it was gorgeous. My sister had a veggie dish and was very nice but nearly a bit too hot for her. Ordered 2 rice when 1 would have sufficed. Wine was reasonable. But my god the place needs updating and dragged into the new millennium! View all feedback.
Popped in early on a Friday night and we were the only people in. We feared the worst! But our two lamb dishes arrived hot fresh and incredibly tasty. So much lamb ‘ no fat and delicious. Rice was fine and naan was great . Highly recommend Thank you
Delicious food and good service! The staff made excellent recommendations and were very friendly! Thank you :
Terrible food . Bhajis were burnt and hard . Biryani was very salty Garlic Naan was very thin and hard it was like cardboard. Prawn makhani had three hard tasteless prawns and the sauce was so sweet I couldn’t eat it . Pilau rice was very salty and had strange lumps through it The price for this culinary disaster was 69 euros which included two cokes !! Ladies toilets were absolutely stinking of stale urine and when we were leaving our shoes stuck on the filthy carpet. We actually squelched the whole way out the door. Service was slow and unfriendly. Avoid like the plague folks !
Nice enough Korma. However, unusually it was a bit sweet? Would prefer a bit more spice to add flavour.
