The crawfish was undercooked and lacked seasoning as well, giving them a bland taste as if they were just boiled in water. I attempted to eat them anyway, but after about 10 crawfish I couldn't stomach the undercooked texture any longer. This was my second disappointing experience at High Octane, and I have no desire to return. I tried calling to express my dissatisfaction, but only reached a voicemail. In the end, we had to throw away over 5lbs of unappetizing crawfish, and High Octane profited off of our $45 without delivering a satisfactory meal. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

It's a fantastic spot for live bands with a tall ceiling and sound-absorbing foam. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the food because the kitchen closes at 10pm, right when I arrived. I would give them 5 stars if they stayed open later. They closed as soon as the band finished around 11pm. The bar is quite lengthy and there is a gift shop in the back.

They host bands from various locations, which is a refreshing change from the typical 3-4 bands in town. This is undoubtedly the top restaurant and bar on the North Shore and possibly in the entire state!

Stayed here as a harvest host stop. $25 for dinner for 2, live music and a place to park for the night! Our server, Heather, was also GREAT. Some call brand drinks can be costly..... read more Went to hear a live rock band. Nice venue for live music in Slidell. $10/person cover was reasonable. Band was very good. Some call brand drinks can be costly...a call bourbon for me was $16 I believe, for a bourbon I can but the bottle at a liquor store for about $30. Beer was cold and reasonably prices. We did not eat this time but someone near us had a BBQ sandwich that smelled great.
