Description

Bonnie C's offers a mixed dining experience, celebrated for its outstanding food and friendly staff but criticized for inconsistencies, particularly regarding fish selection. While patrons rave about the generous portions and daily specials, some express disappointment over the quality and freshness of certain items. The charming, though slightly worn ambiance adds character, making it a cozy diner. Customer service appears variable, with some diners noting delays. Overall, while many recommend trying the restaurant, a few suggest caution regarding menu descriptions. Parking can be challenging during peak times due to nearby businesses.

The food is consistently outstanding; I've never had a bad meal there. Be sure to try the daily specials. The prices are reasonable, and you always leave satisfied. They serve the best onion rings in town! While the building is old and somewhat worn down, that adds to its charm. I absolutely love it and will continue to return again and again.

This restaurant offers some of the best food in Slidell, LA, and at a great price. The dishes are outstanding and perfectly seasoned. The waitstaff is consistently friendly. I visit frequently!

Bonnie C's needs to stop misleading customers by advertising swai fish as catfish. A few months ago, I dined there with my wife and specifically asked our server if they served catfish or swai, and I was told it was catfish. This turned out to be untrue. On June 21, my wife decided to give the restaurant another chance, but unfortunately, it was a disappointment once again. If the fish isn’t actually catfish, it should be clearly stated, as people can tell the difference.
