What a wonderful, helpful, friendly, and supportive guide.The ropes course was definitely a lot harder than I was expecting. I’m afraid of heights and was last in our group, going a little slower than the rest, but Isaiah stayed behind and kept giving me pointers, never rushing me.I stopped once we got to the black course due to its height and challenge level but my husband kept going and he had SUCH a good time!Check in was easy and everyone working there was so professional and helpful. We really appreciate everything. Probably the highlight of our trip to the Poconos!

I expected something like a children’s playground but for adults, but this thing tests your balance, c... read more Ropes course – this was waaaaaaay harder than I expected. I expected something like a children’s playground but for adults, but this thing tests your balance, core strength, arm strength, flexibility… it was exhausting. My 77 year old father lasted for the first 4 obstacles but then asked to quit so they lowered him down and took him back to the cabin. My sister lasted another 3 more segments until she quit but she waited by the big zip at the end. I made it to the end but needed an ibuprofen to sleep that night due to all the pain and I lift weights 3 times a week and bicycle for 2 other days. I thought I was in good shape until I did this ropes course. The tour guide however made it look effortless as she sauntered across the course behind us, Ricca was a great guide and she helped and guided us the whole way. I wouldn’t try this again unless I was in the mood for some self torture, but the adventurous folks can give it a shot.

Therefore, there are two parts of the experience I would like to mention.Firstly, the actual tree top course and paintball was AMAZING! I mean really good. Worth the hour drive, and great that they then have the restaurant nearby to eat dinner. Instructors on the course were fabulous and absolutely fun to be around! The course was reasonable, you felt like you had gotten your times worth (and your exercise in).However, management misinformed me about payments several time via the phone. For example, our group was first 20 ppl (when the res was made) and then 14 when we got there. However, even after telling them this on the phone, they neglected to inform me before arriving that we would have to pay for 16 guests no matter what.My frustration comes with the fact that they were unwilling to work with us, and indeed NEVER told us anything about this before arriving, even knowing this information well in advance.For that reason Im giving 2 rather than 5 stars. My advice for larger groups, be very very clear with them when you call on what you're expecting and clarify price, as once you arrive, they will not work with you AT ALL on it. Indeed, like me you may still be misinformed. However, make sure to take down names of who you are speaking to.

Just a heads up: if you choose the 4-hour option, the final segment can be really tough on your arms.
