Was Matej Rajtár at Kimeri a mag?
Honestly the best restaurant in the whole Crete! Not only we received free starters, water and Raki as it is in Greek restaurants usual, but the waiter even had a toast with Raki with us, the food was delicious and the final bill was at least 10€ less than in all the restaurants at promenades and touristic centres. What Jodie Warner dislikes about Kimeri:
The waterbottle was 1.5l and only $1.5 which is so good. The menu had lots of good and reasonably priced options! Food was rather greecy, nice interior, lovely waiters and lots of cats to pat! Very friendly staff, good and fresh food both local and international dishes . The most authentic Greek restaurant we have discovered during our stay in Crete. Thanks for the hospitality! ... and Belgians are critical when it comes to food ;

Very nice taverna. Locals come here. Basic but all the flavours are there. Good at all times of the day
