Spoons - SISTERS
Spoons
Description
A cozy, small-town café praised for homemade sandwiches, salads and an outstanding German chocolate cake, with charming decor and occasional friendly service. Breakfast items and avocado toast have impressed some diners. However, experiences vary: slow, disorganized and inattentive service, uneven cooking (undercooked or burnt potatoes, dry chicken), billing surprises and what some consider high prices have left others disappointed. Recommended for bakery treats and house-made sandwiches, but be prepared for possible delays and inconsistent execution.

The food was excellent! I really enjoyed the decor, and the service was outstanding. I would definitely return to this place. I took a photo of my breakfast (avocado toast) after finishing the perfectly cooked, slightly crispy sausage. Food rating: 5/5.
I visited this restaurant on a Monday afternoon when it wasn't busy, yet it took 30 minutes for us to receive our two sandwiches, both of which were quite disappointing. My chicken sandwich was overcooked and bland, with the chicken breasts lacking seasoning. Overall, it was a decent but forgettable option for $16. To add insult to injury, we were charged $6 for a side salad, which was just a few scraps of romaine, even though the menu clearly stated it was $4. The waitstaff also seemed disorganized, with multiple servers unaware of what each other had done. Other customers were threatening to leave because of the long wait. If you're looking for a quick bite like we were, you might want to explore other options, although they are limited in this area. Our experience left us feeling underwhelmed and a bit cheated. Given the prices, I expected much fresher food and far better service. I might consider trying breakfast here if I had plenty of time and really needed to eat out.
What a major disappointment. A turkey sandwich for $16 is way too much, and a soda costs $4 on top of that. My sandwich was poorly made, and the service wasn't up to par either. I used to enjoy this place, but the prices have become far too high. Next time, I’ll make the effort to drive to Sunriver and eat at Josie's Deli instead.
Hostess and waitress were very pleasant. Long wait for the simple breakfast, just average food, and overpriced. Would not go back.Food: 3/5
