Description

Tucked in a prime spot, this lively Korean spot pairs expertly prepared comfort dishes with a cheerful, dim-lit atmosphere ideal for dates and small gatherings. Makgeolli — including Yakult and lychee variations — and a $10 happy-hour pint draw crowds before 7:30pm. Standouts include honey butter chicken, kimchi mac & cheese, grilled squid and seafood pancake; portions are generous though some items skew salty or a bit tough, and service can slow on busy nights. Prices trend high, but it's a fun, celebratory place that even accepts bitcoin.

A cool place to chill. Prime location, priced accordingly. Love all three food items we ordered Korean seafood pancake, army stew and grilled squid. Perfect to go with the sweet alcohol Makgeolli. Dimmed lights, chill ambient. Perfect for small group gathering.

Dropped by over the weekend after looking at the reviews here. Food taste was good just that the seafood rapokki was bit to salty for us. Those that prefers ‘重口味’ food can try that. Portion that we ordered was more than enough for two. Loved the lychee makgeolli but wife prefer original makgeolli over that. Price definitely on the higher end.

For drinks, we tried the Yakult Makgeolli, which is simply a mix of two ingredients, barley tea and Yakult. As for food, we ordered the seafood pancake, which was decent, the kimchi mac and cheese, which is a must-try for cheese lovers (be sure to eat it while it’s hot!), the loaded fries with a bit of a Mexican twist, and the Gochugaru Fried Chicken. The chicken looked like La Zi Ji and had a lovely aromatic fried chili flavor, but it wasn't spicy at all, making it easy to finish. We also had the grilled pork belly and the black Angus kalbi. Both were decent, though the beef short rib was a bit tough; however, the marinade was quite good!

Even though it was some time ago, we still fondly remember the wonderful experience we had during dinner here. The food was delicious and expertly prepared, and we really appreciated the casual atmosphere of the restaurant. It has such a cheerful and vibrant vibe! We will definitely be back!
