What teecallie dislikes about Kaleys:
My wife and I stopped after we left the home we put an offer it on. Our agent recommended Kaleys. First thought: parking was a challenge so we went 2 blocks away. Thats not Kaleys problem. We ordered coffee and fries with gravy x 2. It was over $19.00! Coffee was uber strong and fries part cooked. Server polite. But over $22 with the loonie i gave server for french fries and coffee. Prices arent servers fault. We wou... View all feedback.

They do very good meals here.good staff and no long wait times.parking on street or at public parking lot.
Great place to go for food are sweets. prices are perfectly priced..great staff and clean store..right in the downtown area
Is there really anything else I need to say? Breakfast poutine is to DIE for. You got your breakfast potatoes covered with gravy, poached eggs with hollandaise on top, with bits of bacon and cheese etc all in one heaping bowl. Delish!
We stumbled upon this little gem while motoring through Simcoe on a genealogy trip. So glad we did! When entering, we thought that, perhaps, this was just a take out place as there weren't any tables visible. The baked goods and the frozen prepared meals in various cases looked great, though. We were escorted around the corner into a lovely little seating area. Drinks and menus were delivered promptly and we noted the variety of choices. I ordered from the seniors' menu and got a reuben burger (bunless!), potato wedges (Tim Hortons' don't hold a candle to these ones!), fresh peas, and fruit. All for $7.00!! Everything was delicious! Definitely will return.
Kaley's restaurant in Simcoe offers a cozy dining experience with a variety of menu options. Some patrons were disappointed with the pricing of the meals, while others found the food to be delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant offers a range of choices, from seniors' menu options to grab-and-go lunches and catering services. The staff is described as friendly and helpful, with the owner being praised for her involvement in the community. With a mix of positive and negative reviews, Kaley's seems to cater to a diverse range of tastes and preferences, making it a potentially worthwhile stop for those in the area.

Kaley's offers the best breakfast in Simcoe. The food is fresh, flavorful, and portions are generous. The home fries are possibly the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love this place and will definitely be returning.
We decided to have lunch at this restaurant on December 9, 2021, arriving around 11:30 am. The waitress informed us they had five soups available but were running low on the mushroom soup, which seemed odd at that time. My wife ordered tomato soup and I ordered beef soup. We also ordered a Reuben sandwich to share, without fries, and two coffees. The meal arrived with both soups only being warm, not hot, and the Reuben sandwich had thin slices of meat. We overheard the waitress tell another couple that they were also low on potato bacon soup, not mushroom soup as previously mentioned. We did not receive a slip showing our meal order and cost, which I usually like to have. When we went to pay, we also asked for two butter tarts to go. The total cost, including the tarts, came to about $35.00, which we found a bit pricey for a light lunch. The butter tarts had a lot of pastry with very little filling, although we noticed other baked goods that looked delicious.
Kaley's has been offering Fish and Chips on Friday nights during the Covid-19 pandemic to great reviews! After a friend recommended it, we decided to try it out on the evening of May 22nd. We ordered two dinners and were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. The fish pieces were large with a delicious, crispy batter. The fries were perfectly salted and we had enough leftovers to save for later. The meal also came with tartar sauce, lemons, coleslaw, a roll, and a scrumptious lemon cake for dessert. It's important to support our local restaurants during these challenging times, and we are grateful to Kaley for providing such a satisfying meal. Would I recommend this Friday night special? Absolutely YES!
This was our first visit to Kaleys and will be our last. We had lunch. The soup was good. The prices are not cheap. Server was nice. Coffee was not good.
Kaley 's is located in downtown Simcoe, easy to find. Her food and service is top-notch, home-cookin ', and easy on the wallet. She has just set up her food truck, and at a catered event 2 days ago, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch (5 choices). Her dinner choices were ribs or chicken with baked beans, 2 salads and dessert. The chicken was very tender and the ribs were the best , falling off the bone! We definitely recommend eating at the restaurant or if you have the chance, try Kaley 's food truck. She is one great cook!
