Several mixed reviews were provided for a restaurant located in Simco, Ontario. Concerns included dirty tables, long wait times for food, cold meals, and ingredient shortages. Some patrons expressed frustration with slow service and lack of communication. However, positive experiences were also shared, praising friendly staff, great service, and delicious food. Despite the varied feedback, overall, the restaurant seems to have potential, especially with improvements in service timing and consistency in food quality. It may be worth trying again for those seeking a casual dining experience in the Simco area.

Had a flatbread pizza, kids had pizza and wife had a chicken sandwich. All very good. Very nice staff and attentive. Bit pricey but the food was very good.

We went out for supper here on July 9'th, 2017The food was good, however the portion sizes were not great. There was one young girl waiting tables the entire time we were there. The service was very very slow. Which I am certain was due to understaffing, not the waitress herself. They definitely need to get more staff working on a Sunday evening.

My Grandson loves Boston Pizza, and we have gone to several in SW Ontario, some several times.. We've even gone to the one in Simcoe once before and the first visit was what we expect. July 4th was my Grandson's birthday, and this was his choice of restaurant. He always has exactly the same thing: Kid's spaghetti with fries...go figure.I wish that my cold Shrimp Tacos was the most serious issue, but that may have had something to do with one of the most serious issue: the service. Firstly, on a Tuesday night, this place was not exactly busy when we arrived at 7:00pm.Our initial service contact was acceptable. The two appetizers we ordered came in a time more reflective of a busy night...which it most definitely was not.The waitress did remember to refill our drinks after the appetizers were completed...but, at the time, we had no hint that our order was not forthcoming shortly thereafter, which has usually been the case in the other Boston Pizza locations we have visited. We waited, and we waited, and we waited and, after approximately a 40 minute wait after the consumption of our appetizers, our daughter went to inquire about our meals because we had seen a number of patrons, who arrived after us, get their meals. She returned to the table indicating that the waitress was not exactly polite, and blamed the tardiness of our meals on us having ordered appetizers? But she did indicate that she would/could check on our order.Shortly thereafter, while still waiting, the Manager came to our table to apologize, indicating that there had been a mix-up with our order and it had just been put in and should be coming to us shortly, which was within another 10 minutes. The Manager apologized and offered a 25% discount on our meals. When the food finally came, my shrimp tacos were stone cold & some of the other food was only lukewarm. I also need to say that my grandson almost always eats all of his spaghetti, but did not this time; not exactly sure of the issue but for him not to eat it all, there must have been something not up to par. The pizza was hot & I heard no complaints, but the salad my wife had was mediocre, at best. When the bill came, the waitress clearly stated that the invoice reflected the 25% discount for the mix-up. A first glance made me uncertain that any discount had been applied, and there appeared to be an extra charge for my grandson's birthday desert (only $3.99 but a charge?). It was very quickly apparent that no discount had been applied, so I went in search of the Manager. His immediate response made me wonder if he already knew that no discount had been applied, and his lame excuse about confusion over the charge for the 'birthday dessert' made me wonder even more. When the server arrived with our “corrected” invoice, she informed us that we had been given a further 10% discount, to a total of 35%, which was clearly indicated in a one-line credit at the botome of the bill. We were also told that the Manager was new, and this was part of the reason for the issues we had experienced. This seemed somewhat odd, to me.On the drive home, with the comments of the waitress and the Manager, I could not help but wonder if all the supposed confusion about the bill was nothing more than a ruse, in the hope that I would pay the bill without noticing. A day later, and even after they did give me a 35% discount after I brought the error to their attention. I am still uncertain.I am not normally one to give bad restaurant reviews. I like to give good ones, or point out issues about food or service quality, but I usually attempt to be constructive in my criticism. The customer service in this Boston Pizza, on this night, was deplorable and if the 'error' with the initial discounting of the bill was no error, this Manager should be dealt with. This is totally unacceptable, and I hold Boston Pizza to a higher standard.I did inform the Manager that I would be writing this review, and I sincerely hope that he reads it. The service in that location needs to improve dramatically, based on our experience on July 4th!I think when we are again visiting Simcoe to see our grandchildren, we will think twice about going to this Boston Pizza again.

We visited recently in the midst of a drive and were every excited to check it out. Food was really good (although we did wish the artichoke dip dish was bigger as we went through it very fast) and the server we had was very friendly and helpful. The only issue really was the wait times for food. It took about 30 minutes to get the appetizer and roughly 30 more for the main dishes. By the time we had finished our food we had been there almost an hour and a half. I think it's a great place to eat (albeit a little pricey) but definitely has some kinks to work out.

Upon entering the restaurant, I waited at the door for 5 minutes while multiple staff members walked by without acknowledging me or informing me that someone would be with me. I was in town for a funeral and just wanted to grab some food to bring back to my hotel after a long day of traveling and being at the funeral home. Despite being patient and understanding of the service industry, I left without being recognized. This Simco Ontario location could use some improvements.
