The beef fillet in mushroom sauce was incredible and I didn't really need a knife as I could have cut it with my spoon. The duck was incredible and my 9 year old polished off the biggest bowl of prawn linguine I've ever seen him manage to eat. Wilson is a fantastic host and is very knowledgable about the ingredients in the dishes and where those ingredients are sourced from. We are just sad that we visited on our last evening in portugal, wishing we had found this restaurant earlier on in the week, but we will return again next year. This place is easily the best restaurant in the area and as such gets booked up quickly, so always message to reserve a table. 10/10

We picked the place because TripAdvisor had rated it the best in town. When we arrived and saw the place, though, we seriously considered going somewhere else, thinking that the reviews must be lying. Luckily we stayed. Do not judge a book by its cover! Food was amazing, service great (a bit slow, but that did not matter as the waiter was super nice). Absolutely worth the detour.
