Traditional decor, relatively busy all the signs were good but the food was poor steak was tough and when the waiter said it came with chips, they were in fact crisps a as very strange idea. House wine was the only saving grace
Food was good, hot and tasty, friendly staff, would eat there again. Place was quite busy and seemed good for young families, very interesting transitions, much to see.
Food was good, Steak was great, but very disappointed by personal manners. We waited first for a table and then waited almost 10 minutes for order - no courtesy for customers.
Great looking restaurant with good kerb appeal and an enticing €8.50 menu of the day but that’s where it ends so be well advised and opt for another restaurant because the service and food are appalling, when we asked what the starter soup was? the waiter said “ soup soup it is soup “ when we asked if there was another choice of starter he said “ No if there was another it would be written on the board” so we had soup soup to start then one person had what he described as an interesting piece of veal my wife had a mix of pork fat and inedible sausages, a friend had a burnt mackerel and I had a reasonable salmon steak, all the food were served with cold potatoes and cold vegetables!! All rather embarrassing because it was my choice.
