Stopped in finally to check this place out with it's good reviews and tasty sounding menu. I was pleasantly surprised to discover I already knew the owners from past events they have catered. I was impressed in the past by Chef Paul's culinaryskills and with my visit today I was once again. I ordered the Salmon bento, Ahi Poke, Annette's gf macaroons, a Hawaiian SunLilikoi Lychee juice drink, and had to try Susan's ginger cookies. Everything tasted amazing! Love the setup with grab and goitems. Smoked salmon was spot on with hint of smoke, moist and flavorful. Love the presentation from the radish garnish to theblack sesame seeds on the avocado slices. Classy name for a classy place! So happy Paul and Susan opened this little restaurant!
Ordered 2 dishes, the poke bowl and the 'special ' beef curry. Asked if I could have noodles instead of rice, not a problem here!!! Delicious food, generous portions, great prices, fantastic people who work there. Just lovely, any time we are in thearea we will eat here, from Bend Oregon.
There seemed to be one woman running it all and she was wonderful. Our food was quick and brought out with a smile. All of it was delicious. I got to try Spam Masubi for the first time and it was made very well and delicious. We also split the wagyu beefsteak and rice bowl. It was definitely a great time sitting outside the shop enjoying the hot food. Definitely would visit againwhen back in town.
I moved to the area from New Orleans and was looking to find a similar ramen place to my favorite from home. The broths are decadent and flavorful. The meats have been seasoned and fall apart in your mouth. The pasta is soft and chewy. Plus they have a market inside to buy some great things to eat or cook with. The seating is limited, but that’s really the only down side.
