I recently discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the Hawaiian style Kalua Pork. The dish was made with fresh ingredients and lean meat, and I highly recommend it to others. The average price per person for lunch is between $10 and $20. Stopped in finally to check this place out with it's good reviews and tasty sounding menu. I was pleasantly surprised to discover I already knew the owners from past events they have catered. I was impressed in the past by Chef Paul's culinaryskills and with my visit today I was once again. I ordered the Salmon bento, Ahi Poke, Annette's gf macaroons, a Hawaiian SunLilikoi Lychee juice drink, and had to try Susan's ginger cookies. Everything tasted amazing! Love the setup with grab and goitems. Smoked salmon was spot on with hint of smoke, moist and flavorful. Love the presentation from the radish garnish to theblack sesame seeds on the avocado slices. Classy name for a classy place! So happy Paul and Susan opened this little restaurant!
Ordered 2 dishes, the poke bowl and the 'special ' beef curry. Asked if I could have noodles instead of rice, not a problem here!!! Delicious food,generous portions, great prices, fantastic people who work there. Just lovely, any time we are in thearea we will eat here, from Bend Oregon.
