Since it wa... read more We visited the Creekside Grill during a rare quiet period, allowing us to enjoy the back room with its lovely view of Silver River all to ourselves. Since it was a late lunch/early dinner, we both opted for tacos. My companion enjoyed the chicken tacos, which came as three small servings along with crispy fried tortilla chips and salsa. I chose the sautéed fish tacos, which were also accompanied by tortilla chips and a small cup of salsa. I added a cup of tomato soup for a little extra, and it turned out to be the perfect portion for a light meal. After a challenging hike, we couldn't resist trying the chocolate brulee and the airy pumpkin dessert topped with real whipped cream. The service was attentive and well-timed, making for an overall fantastic experience. A delightful surprise was how reasonable the bill was!

The clam chowder and tomato basil soups were just average, and the Caesar salad wasn't impressive either. However, our waitress was very friendly! The view overlooking the creek is breathtaking, but they could definitely improve the seating arrangements to allow more guests to enjoy the view.

With a prime location, a creative menu, and a dedicated team, Creekside Grill quickly became a beloved spot. Lori and I are incredibly grateful for the hard work and contributions of our talented team over the years. While I have stayed busy with daily construction projects, I truly loved being out on the floor, connecting with our guests. Lori handled the daily operations and played a vital role at the Grotto Martini Tiki Bar, which gained a reputation for its handcrafted cocktails. We have learned so much from everyone we worked with, and we sincerely thank each of you. Although location, food, and drinks are crucial elements of a restaurant, it was all of you who made it feel like home. I will always cherish the memories of our regular guests, many of whom I had the pleasure of talking with for hours. Your support over the years, both through your patronage and your kind words, has meant the world to us. We have enjoyed hosting countless events, including birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, fashion shows, murder mysteries, music festivals, and many more. Being a public house has given us the unique opportunity to share in your lives and witness the caring and supportive spirit of this community. Silverton has been incredibly kind to us, which makes it even harder to announce that we have chosen not to reopen Creekside Grill ourselves. Lori and I are ready to begin a new chapter in our lives. This unexpected pause has opened up the possibility for someone else to take over and carry on our legacy. We are eager to find new owners who will cherish and appreciate this community as much as we do. However, once I rec... read more At first, I found their menu a bit confusing, as it features a mix of different types of dishes—imagine a rib joint that also offers gelato. However, once I received my food, I was pleasantly surprised. I’m still not sure what their specialty is, but there definitely seems to be a Latin influence. The drinks were also impressive. I ordered a Madagascar vanilla lemon drop (actually, I had two), and it was absolutely delightful. Their selection of Sauvignon Blanc was excellent as well. For dessert, I tried the lemon cream pie, which was quite good. One of my dining companions opted for the crème brûlée with chili. It was certainly a unique combination. I tasted some, and while it's not something I would typically order, it wasn't bad at all. Overall, Creekside Grill is a lovely spot along the Willamette River with a nice view. It's a perfect place for a night out with family or friends, or even for a special date.
