We stopped here while visiting Colorado, craving a cold beer and something good to eat. The Baker’s brewery delivered in both areas : I got the fish tacos- they were delicious. My friends got a beyond burger, and the hunters pie. So many different options and the food was delicious. The beer hit the spot, and our server was very attentive and helpful to my friend with special needs. All around a fabulous experience!... View all feedback.
What Ned L doesn't like about The Bakers' Brewery:
The hunters pie is most popular, but it's not very good. It's watery, small ground elk bits, a little mashed potatoes, with an unappealing gray gravy, peas corn onions. CROOKS. After visiting in the late afternoon with my family I received a second more expensive charge on my credit card. The manager Dana said she would look into it and when I followed up she said the owner could find no record of it. I explained I have the record on my bank statement and she then hung the phon up on me.
The Hunter's Pie was very tasty and filling. The employees were nice and authentic. I had a pretty good, big cookie. But the beer was mediocre for a craft brewery. I tried five beers, and almost all had a taste that just seemed a little bit off.
We were driving through on our way to Leadville and decided to stop in Silverthorne for lunch. I always say don't judge a restaurant/brewery by its building. The food and beer were absolutely delicious which is a rare combination! And to top it off, their bake goods....so yummy Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Love love love this little local spot. No frills. But great service. And great casual food and beers.
