Rootstalk Breckenridge

Without a doubt, it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. It was on our list of must-visit places, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. We opted for cocktails instead of the wine pairing, and they were just as delicious!

I wish I could rate this place higher than 5 stars. As soon as we walked in, the staff recognized that we were celebrating a friend's birthday. They greeted her with birthday wishes, then served us all champagne for a birthday toast. They even had "Happy Birthday" printed on her menu, and at the end of the meal, they brought out a dessert with "Happy Birthday" elegantly written in chocolate on the plate. Every dish, from the charcuterie board to the scallops and sea bass, was prepared to perfection; nothing was overlooked in the food preparations.

We did the 5 course chef's tasting menu wine pairing. The savory dishes were all a tad on the salty side, but I prefer that over not salted enough. We had (what I think is) the best spot in the house, a high top right by the kitchen so we could see all the action go down and see what everyone was eating. It was a delicious meal and I can't wait to go back and try more!

My family and I were thoroughly impressed and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was amazing, the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. The bluefin appetizer was undoubtedly the best item on the menu! It was a fantastic recommendation from our waitress and the assistant servers. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. Since we were visiting from another state and had heard wonderful things about Rootstalk, we chose to celebrate my birthday there.

We did the 5 course experience. Service is amazing. We really felt special because we were celebrating our anniversary. They gave us a card and 2 drinks. The food? It 's alright. For the price, I 'm gonna say it was not worth it and it 's not about the portion. They all look very delicious and appealing but I 'm not sure about the taste. I do have a personal preference when it comes to food and I am very open to try new things but this was just ehh . The pasta and the meatball
