When we sat the staff also realize we... read more Our experience at sunshine Café was great! Our server Claudio was super attentive and nailed all the details of our order! When we sat the staff also realize we'd be much more comfortable at a bigger table, so they moved our group quite quickly without us asking. I ordered the huevos rancheros with added bacon, and the green chili on top. The meal was killer and I highly recommend not having to drive down the mountain after eating this because a nap would've been much better. I also had a spicy **** Mary Which came with a pickle, some banana, peppers and bacon in it. My only qualm with anything at this meal is that my bacon was at the bottom of the **** Mary, which was kind of wet and congealed. Would have been much better if it were on top! We had to wait about 45 minutes to get a table at sunshine Café and it was definitely worth it. Will be back in the future for any other mountain weekends! Our groups split a couple of cinnamon rolls, which were wildly good. I think it was cream cheese frosting, but it was so rich and creamy, and the roll itself was super fluffy and absorbed the frosting perfectly. The cinnamon rolls are huge so definitely recommend splitting one if you're getting it with any other food!

We got seated with in 20min which was great but once we sat down and ordered it took about 40 min to get our food. The cinnamon roll was good but I don't if that was because we were hungry or it was tasty. Overall the food average. Having to wait a really long time for made the experience much lower than my initial expectations.
