We ate here for the 1st time today. I had chicken fried chicken. It was ok. The batter all fell off when trying to cut it. The chicken itself was bland. The white gravy was good. The muffins was barely warm, so I feel that could had played a part in why we wasn't impressed. Butter didn't even melt on them. Service was great. Very clean, authentic decor for the atmosphere of a home built in 1929. Service is wonderful. Daily specials that are absolutely delicious, home cooking at it's finest, daily specials and dessert(prepared usually by Ms Whitney, 100% nailed it rate in the sweets as much as the entree prep)as well as a full menu.. Mrs. Pam and Mr. Kit are just the greatest. They worked their tail off to get SweetCheeks up and running. Silsbees finest restaurant , in my opinion. A cute, and delicious, little surprise right in Silsbee! Who knew?! I love the style. The waitstaff was very friendly. The food was amazing! 3 of us dropped in for lunch and were certainly not disappointed. Quaint old home venue, Christmas atmosphere, great entree 's and a yummy chocolate cobbler for dessert.Plenty of menu
