Down home country dinner. Home-made fried cheese sticks are highly recommended. The chicken strip basket was worth every penny. I don't usually do post reviews, but i felt this place has earned one from me. It's a great place to eat.
This restaurant deserves 10 stars. It's not fancy on the outside, but don't let that deter you from going there. It is a hidden gem. Wonderful people, food, and atmosphere. Best catfish I ever ate, not to mention the sides (fried okra and hushpuppies)!!! I plan on making a pilgrimage (or two) there, every time I go to the area to visit family! It's worth the drive, folks!!! P.S. The prices are great too!!!
The burger I got is the super 92, and it is great. Love the fresh bread. The fries were ok, just very few came with it. Now the last thing I ordered was fried pickles, and they are SO salty that I can't eat them. I mean like SALTY, so that's 5.99 wasted.
I usually love going here to eat but tonight was different. It took 15 mins to be acknowledged and 50 mins to receive our dinner! The food was excellent as usual, but we weren't given silverware and had to go to to ask again for a drink refill. Only 2 other tables were here besides us. They need more help.
Got frog legs. they were not season and blan for the price ud think they would taste better. tasted like they were just tossed in ubseasoned flour and fried I've never had so blan ones until yesterday at this place
