What Silvy6872 doesn't like about Il Castello Di Signa:
The place is in the historic center of Signa. It's simple, a little dizzy, it would need a modernization. We ate pizza, passable. Adequate prices. Service a bit slow, advice more attention to the customer. The place is suitable for families and numerous groups. View all feedback.
We enjoyed some fish dishes and primi piatti along with a perfect neapolitaion pizza from a wood stove. local wein recommendation was in front of location.
Clean, pleasant restaurant, small garden area outdoors. we sat in front of mosquitoes (august.) we arrived very early (approx. 7.30) and found parking on a nearby parking lot uphill, but I think the parking spaces would be difficult later. also people with limited mobility, forget it....We had pizzas that were excellent, juicy and well covered with thick Neapolitan style homemade basic. all excellent fresh ingredients. one of the best pizzas I ever had. we were offered a glass prosecco to start a charming gesture that will all us in a good mood. Unfortunately we were not very hungry this evening, but as soon as I saw the menu and understood the quality of eating, I wish we had faded! so we will definitely visit this restaurant again and have a complete meal. in the meantime, keep the good work madam chef. prices more than reasonable for quality.
Tucked away up a side street in Signa, this place is a great find ! Classic italian restaurant with a good atmosphere innovative dishes as well as the more recognisable dishes from this area of course... Very helpful staff and some english spoken which...is a bonus as there are no menu translations here ! 3 course dinner and a bottle of Pinot Grigio for 75 euros all up for 2...excellent value and would return with pleasure.
We had a wonderful night here. My husband and I wanted pizza but wanted to sit and enjoy ourselves in a nice setting. We researched a little before we went and we were so impressed by the prices. They offered us a free tasting of...wine, which was delicious so I ordered a whole bottle. My husband got a beer and we each got our own pizzas. In the end we spent about 30 Euros. We were beyond impressed. Parking was hard, and we had to walk up a steep hill to get there from where we parked but it was worth it. Will definitely return during our stay.
Just had dinner here for my anniversary. We were given a private room with candles and flowers. The service was exceptional as was the food. A perfect romantic evening. Thank you so much!
