We ordered the menu degustazione and it was an excellent choice. We probably had eight different dishes from appetizers to dessert, plus 4 types of wine and everything was excellent, fresh and perfectly presented. In addition, a very nice and friendly lady serves us. What do you want? The place, food and service first class

G... read more Can’t recommend this place enough, it wasn’t overly busy but don’t let that put you off. It is away from the tourist traps but still close enough to walk too. Greeted by the owner, her and her husband cook and run front of house. Food was some of the best we’ve had in Florence. Must go!

The restaurant was just a short walk away from our stay and we were impressed by how pretty and charming the place is. Marta and her partner create a welcoming and authentic experience. My wife and I were impressed by the 20 page wine list and homey dishes, all served sweetly by Marta herself. We were full after the delicious antipasti, primi, and secondi, and a little jealous when we heard another table order the homemade ice cream. And all of this right near the Duomo.
