The decor is top notch and the vibes are great. Loved the gelato. Amazing taste and flavor. Friendly staff. Great location within small mall. This place is nice for any group size but it does have limited seating. It even has swings as seats! Highly recommended!

As part of the self created gelato tour, we wandered into Barroccino. They aren't located in a tourist area, and are more of a locals place. The decor is cute a... read more As part of the self created gelato tour, we wandered into Barroccino. They aren't located in a tourist area, and are more of a locals place. The decor is cute and different than most Gelateria's. Seats that look like swing seats, and the counter has an awning type covering over it. It's cute. The gelato is so-so, and so was the staff. The gelato should be cold and frozen. The scoops were falling apart and melty. Barroccino offers a lot of basic flavors from vanilla, lemon, chocolate, etc. Their more unique flavors range from pistachio to an interesting caramel. I didn't find the flavors and taste to have the depth of flavor, or the true consistency of artisanal gelato. It was rather disappointing. It was more like liquid mush. Not a place I'd return to.

Lovely people and a lovely place to relax and enjoy. If you're in Firenze you have to visit!

It was very memorable for us- the taste, combos, mix n match, knowledeable owner, fantastic staff and they gave me an experience into their lab as well. Unbelievable menu, ambience. Very Good.
