Good restaurants and bars, goo... read more Lovely authentic Italian hill town. It is really genuine which has not fallen into the trap of changing for the sake of tourists. Good restaurants and bars, good to just eat or drink just watching what is normal life in these towns. 2 very small supermarkets which sell the basics and a bakers al you need really. Reasonable supermarket 13 kms away. I loved it and does exactly what it says on the tin!! And would go again. I only give 4 stars to absolutely amazing and stunning places hence the 4.

We ordered two fiorentina stakes and got some overcooked slim stakes, which did not resemble fiorentina stakes not even by applying a lot of imagination... The village is lovely and the people very friendly and... good looking too! :

The food selections were all explained as to where they were from and what they were. The pasta with black truffles was out of this world, the lasagna with zuccini and mint was Devine , the antipasto platter was amazing and those figs........... Poached in white wine and ginger....omg! The staff are helpful, friendly and funny. We were honoured to be invited to one of the owners home for lunch. In all this little gem set the tone for a delightful happy holidays. Thank you Luccia for taking such good care of us Rob and Donna from Australia

Tasting plates were a tasting banquet.... read more We arrived for a late lunch for a group of nine. We were treated to a sensational meal of local cheeses, meats and wine. Tasting plates were a tasting banquet. Desserts were to die for.... Beautiful cheese cake, figs poached we think in a sweet white wine with cream and freshly cooked individual chocolate cake with a soft chocolate centre. The staff were absolutely delightful.....genuinely warm and welcoming. Strongly recommended.
