I tried one of their vegan sausage rolls that they were selling at the Deep Cove Market, and I was BLOWN AWAY. Unbelievable, I want ten more. Also would like to note I'm not an ~eggplant~ person, but you would have no idea?? It was so perfect, and delicious, and the texture was BRILLIANT! Mmm, vegan sausage roll. What Annamarie Wilkinson doesn't like about Alexander's Coffee:
Purchased a dark roast brew and a ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was fresh and moist, tasty. Sadly the purpose of the visit, coffee was not very good. I downed a bout half of it and disposed of the rest. Over roasted and harsh it lacked body and tasted much like an institutional mass roast. Won't be back. View all feedback.
In a recent visit to Vancouver Island we stopped into Sidney on our way to the ferry terminal, to have morning coffee. We tried out this recommendation and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The space is small but cozy and as it was a sunny morning we enjoyed our coffee at an outside table. They make a good coffee and have a good selection of baked goods to accompany your coffee. My husband had their special "Mexican Mocha Latte" but he didn't find it to be anything exciting at all - just very hot temperature wise.A nice little stopping off place in your day.
For a low-key friendly coffee break in a bistro favoured by locals, drop in to Alexander's Coffee. It's not a large place although it usually has at least a couple of tables free, and often near the window. Being a smidge set back from the street (Beacon,) you need to keep your eyes peeled for the sign, but it's worth the little extra effort. There's a nice selection of treats to complement your selection of fine coffee. Drop in - you'll be glad you did.

What a great but tiny cafe! So glad we came across it on a recent visit. The Mexican Mocha was excellent and staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
Very good coffee and your choice, very good sandwitches, wraps, muffins are verry verry good, they also have good soup, may be A little crowded as it is so popular.
