The restaurant is located on the ufer and is one of the few with not too loud and very beautiful music. a solid wine card and the menu provide a great evening.... read more The restaurant is located on the ufer and is one of the few with not too loud and very beautiful music. a solid wine card and the menu provide a great evening. there are 3 dedicated vegetarian dishes (real vegetarian not normal without meat) that are very tasty. to start with many vegetarian or vegan. we loved our evening and would come back

I had meze and hummus as recommended by the server, and it was amazing and they were very good to explain the menu. eating tastes great authentic Turkish dishes and several vegan options to choose from! the prices are also very fair. the personal is very nice and they are very attentive. we had a chat with the owner and had tee in the house. the restaurant is also very cozy. would give me 5 stars if I could definitely be back!

I really recommend this restaurant.

Was in a beautiful outdoor setting near a roman ruin and we were seated next to a little wishing well type fountain, and what with that and some slightly trippy new age type music it all had a slight Lord of the rings type feel! Staff friendly enough without being pushy. Was quite pricey in comparison to other places although still cheap compared to the UK. Was not a vegan section to the menu so had to be informed as to what was suitable for me. Flatbread starter and salad bits were nice, flatbread nice and puffy although not very substantial. Was elated to find hummus on the menu (a rarity in Side! only to be disappointed to find it was prepared with butter???? I ordered the vegetable casserole for my main which to be honest seemed to be the same bog standard recipe found in other Side restaurants tinned type vegetables in a spicy sauce quite tasty but nothing special the only difference being was more expensive! However all in all was a nice place to dine, slightly posher then most of the usual places good for when you are a bit more dressed up rather then after spending the day at the beach like we were! Had a simple fruit desert and shared a bottle of wine plus water and I think if I remember correctly the meal came to about £12 to £15 each we went in September 18 when the lira was right down against the pound..so not bad value for a more upmarket type place.
