We came to the place with great anticipation to taste vegan options and were very disappointed. after checking out the food on the menu we ordered pasta with to... read more We came to the place with great anticipation to taste vegan options and were very disappointed. after checking out the food on the menu we ordered pasta with tomato and vegetables in the many. we asked the owner a few times about the ingredients in the plate. first he replied patiently, but when we insisted on understanding what was in the dressed and whether it was milk, butter or something else vegan, he began to laugh and said: yes, I gave milk, butter and so. after the arrival of the teller we got overcooked pasta with some tomato spoons and garlic as a very disappointing sauce. we have the sweetness in the often in a sauce that seemed to me with dead and something strange, and then we began to suspect. after the persisting on the review turns out, it was creamy! disappoint and annoying. not recommend to get to the place.

After the dish arrived, we got overcooked pasta with some tomato spoons and garlic as a very disappointing sauce. We got the vegetables in the oven in a sauce that seemed strange to me with tomatoes and some white, and then we started to suspect. After insisting on review, it turns out to be creamy!! Disappoint and annoying. Do not recommend to get to the place.

I had the vegan Ca... read more Finding vegan food in Side was the challenge, and while eating at the Surf Bar was nothing spectacular we were happy to have the opportunity. I had the vegan Casserole, which was really good in itself, the Casserole had a nice taste and a wide selection of Veggies (also Brussel sprouts, yum). It came with one side of rice and some random cold steamed veggies, which seemed like an afterthought, there was not enough rice, so just would have preferred more rice. Oh, good. My friend had a vegetarian pizza without cheese, which was a small victory, as everywhere else in Turkey had refused to do this for us. When we got the bill, we seemed overloaded for the pizza. Turns out that the Vego pizza is listed on two different pages with two different prices, and the waiter said that one is smaller therefore the price difference (we had ordered the cheaper ones, but they have paid us to the more expensive one on the other). Bit cheeky.

My father and I spent some wonderful nights at this place and are planning to come back many times. The staff is amazing and creates a beautiful atmosphere. I can't put it into words to be honest. One of the few places we found during our trip that actually offered something dairy free for our allergic children! Excellent service, wonderful atmosphere and the food was delicious! A real different kind of menu which was much needed after a week of very much the same types of food. Lovely hot apple tea as a compliment at the end of our meal too! Vegetarian options: Some great options most notably the surfer veggie which was amazing!
