Everything I had in my mouth while I was here was absolutely delicious. From drinks to food to SOUSE! The place is illuminated with great music and a beautiful POC rainbow. Our servers were more friendly than ever and they were able to accommodate us. I highly recommend it, and I can't wait to go back and continue to support black-owned restaurants!
They gave us such a pleasant experience. Good enough to make me leave this review, haha. The servers were super attentive. The food was awesome. Loved the burger, salad, wings, and shrimp. The pumpkin tres leches was very good as well. I will say the tamales were not my favorite. The filling kind of tasted like chili. Very weird. Everything else was super good though!
Not sure what I expected, but this was a disappointment. Visiting Chicago for the first time in several years as part of my month long birthday celebration and wanted to try some places that were new to me. I recently visited The Delta for the Sunday Soul Brunch and had a phenomenal experience. The food, drinks and service (great job Jordan) were excellent! The only small thing I would change is the volume of the music from the DJ and add some blues music. You can't have a Mississippi Delta centered restaurant without the sounds of Howlin' Wolf and BB King. As a son of Mississippi, I was a bit skeptical to visit to be completely honest.
