We were welcomed and made to feel right at home immediately. I had my mother who is in a wheelchair with me and we were seated at a table with plenty of space. The whole staff is attentive and helpful and the food came out fast and hot. Everything was delicious and tasted so fresh. Crispy peapods, tender beef, mild spice of curry in the Singapore noodles. The presentation of the salt and pepper squid was beautiful an... View all feedback.
What The Globaltrotter doesn't like about House Of Wah Sun:
Welcoming atmosphere but sloppy service for me. I saw customers being welcomed with ice cold water. My food spilled in the bag and had no sauce . The veggie combo was not filling due to low protein content..For the tip I left I expected napkins because I did not eat at home! View all feedback.
UPDATED REVIEW. Something has changed. Last time everything was different. Not good. Even the egg rolls weren't good. OLD REVIEW Best veggie egg rolls around. Also the salt and pepper tofu is small but amazing. Have loved this place for years. Very good.
Old Golden Nugget convertido to this restaurant. So darn good ! Had the Hawaiin fried rice, enough for 3. None of the different distes I've had here are too salty, they taste just right. The Hawaiin fried rice is probably our favorite, nice generous chunks of pineapple, chicken and ham make this dish so good. Also ordered the orange beef, it's deep fried breaded. it was our 1st time having it and it was just ok, not our favorite but you may like it. Everything else is good. Pot stickers, veggie rolls, hot and sour soup, crab rangoon. You will definately find something off the large menu here. Very spacious dining área, booths and tables, clean and their service is good too. Good meal for the value/ price. One of my fav go to places.
Average food, service, and atmosphere. Was not impressed with the flavor of the dish I ordered (Mongolian Beef), which tasted nothing like the many times at many different restaurants I have ordered the dish in the past. However, taste can be subjunctive, and the two friends I dined with were pleased with their meals.
The order was completed on time for my pickup. I had high hopes because it looked so good. However, everything was very middle of the road. I'm thankful for the pockets of chili sauce and soy sauce to flavor it up. The Szechwan Shrimp was not spicy like I thought it would be, and was actually quite bland. The side of cantonese noodles was dry and flavorless. The fried wing appetizer was ok. I wish I had tried one of the three chef's specials as I now know that emoji doesn't really mean very hot. The lamb sounded very interesting as I've never had lamb at a Chinese restaurant, so if I do try again that is what I'll order.
It is the greatest Korean Chinese restaurant I have ever visited in USA!!! You must try it
