Food was good and prices fair. My only complaint is that our waiter didn't let me know there were significant up charges for drink and side options he listed when taking our order. Most notable was a $6.50 charge for a root beer along with a kids meal that included a soda in its price. View all feedback.

Our waitress was very rude and had an attitude. We ordered and 30 minutes had passed, she ignored us and when we asked if my son's meal could be brought out and she said kitchen was backed up. Food was decent, the atmosphere was fun, and there was a hippie vibe. Service was friendly/attentive.
R.J. Grunts is a neighborhood favorite in Lincoln Park. They serve spectacular food and have one of the best happy hours in the city of Chicago. Service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful, I’ve been going here for 10+ years and it’s never failed to disappoint me. A great place to grab food at any time of the day, shoutout to Lettuce Entertain You.

She also didn't advise of the up charge on additional toppings, one which didn't even come with the meal. She was very unpleasant and rude and maybe should rethink her choice of being a waitress.
