Was Arthur Hollmann at Galit a mag?
I got lucky and found a last minute table.. food was great and, as others said, hummus is an outstanding experience! I’m biased but.. the bread is also a killer! Nailed it! The only downside I’d say is the “jointed table” if you’re on your own. But that wouldn’t put me off going back again. Cheers View all feedback.

What Shazia Abdullah dislikes about Galit:
**Pros:** The service was excellent, and the ambiance had a charming neighborhood eatery vibe—bustling and fun, albeit not particularly quiet. While we don't drink alcohol, they offered an impressive selection of wines and other drinks. The dessert, the Kataifi Cigar, was truly amazing. **Cons:** The combination of ingredients was intriguing, but the overall flavors were quite average and a bit bland, which is not what you would expect from Middle Eastern cuisine. We were presented with a fixed menu priced at $95 per person. Although we could choose one dish each from the mezze and main courses, we had to share all the appetizers, and we received only one Kataifi Cigar (which is essentially a cannoli) for dessert. We left feeling cheated, as it didn't seem worth the price to me.

This place is very expensive, but it is VERY much worth it if you have a big enough group. Everything about this place just proves that it deserves the Michelin star it received. The service is great, our waitress was courteous but also personable. She did a great job explaining the menu items as well as how the service was going to work. The food is also incredible. Of course some items, in my opinion, were better than others but you could really appreciate the variety of the dishes and their flavor profiles as they came out. A huge stand out in my opinion was the lobster dish which was so good we got an extra serving of it afterwards. If you have the money, give this place a shot! It will be a night to remember for sure.

Beautiful food. I loved the pickled items and the yogurt butter. The fish was so delicious. I would come here again. They also gave us cookies for the road on our way out. I think they over booked because they place was packed and they charged us for call , which is weird and I had never seen a that before.

I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The aromas and flavors were absolutely amazing. The food was perfect and the cocktails were just as fantastic. I highly suggest sitting at the bar for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Genuinely one of my favorite restaurant experiences of all time. I have eaten at Galit or carried out at least 10x and I have never had a bad meal. A well deserved Michelin ??, and one of the nicest teams of hospitality professionals around!

This restaurant recently earned their first Michelin star and it's no wonder why! This is my new favorite Mediterranean place in the city. The food was spectacular, the staff lovely, and the location was great. It's nice to see good restaurants in LincolnPark (and not in West Loop). I adored the hummus and the homemade cheese from the appetizer course, the cabbage and rice dish, and the rice pudding dessert (these were from their Restaurant Week menus). Everything we ate was amazing though! They have aregular fixed price menu for dinner that looked amazing, so you should definitely check it out!
