Breakfast House Coffee Bar Restaurant

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was very impressed with the food and service. I had previously visited their location on Ashland and had a similar positive experience there. They really strive to please their customers. I returned for lunch and mimosas this time and it was just as amazing as before.

This restaurant used to be our go-to spot for brunch in the neighborhood, and we would visit at least twice a month with friends and family. Unfortunately, we will not be returning anymore. We always enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and delicious food here. However, during our most recent visit on a Sunday, we were shocked by the behavior of the manager. After ordering our café mocha and latte, the manager, wearing a brown jacket, approached our table and informed us that we only had 1 hour and 15 minutes to dine before we would need to leave. Despite explaining that we had just arrived and wanted to enjoy our coffee before ordering, the manager was dismissive and suggested we come back on a less busy day. This lack of hospitality and professionalism ruined our experience and we chose to leave without finishing our drinks. As someone in the hospitality industry, I understand the importance of creating a positive and memorable experience for guests. It is clear that this manager lacked the long-term thinking needed to keep loyal customers happy. We will not be returning to this restaurant and will be sharing our negative experience with friends and family. It is disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism, and we will be taking our business elsewhere.
