What Iñigo Isaba dislikes about Beatrix:
I visited by myself and asked for a table for brunch. They only offered me the bar, which was crowded. I asked about sitting outside, which was 2/3 empty, and they told me there was an hour wait I'm sorry but don't believe it it's just another instance of discrimination against the solo traveler. Won't return. View all feedback.

Our party of five met at Beatrix Streeterville for a brief reunion on a recent Saturday night. What a great choice! Great food, atmosphere, and quiet enough to have a cross-table conversation without shouting. Price wasn’t bad for a downtown spot. Would definitely recommend!
This place is safe for people who need gluten free food that also happens to be amazing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60

We waited more than an hour for a pre baked cinnamon roll, and even longer for the balance of our order. Our waiter was nowhere to be found and made not a single apology that a basic brunch took well over two hours to get food. Unreal. The food was good and when it finally arrived; but ironically cold. Our drinks sat empty 90% of the time we were there so he clearly didn’t care about boosting the check/cost. No idea what was going on.
The food at Beatrix is finger licking good. Some of the best coffee we have had. Our server was very nice and friendly. However, the hostess at the front desk couldn’t be less empathetic, impatient and downright rude. She ruined the experience for us.
Went here for breakfast at about 10:45 am on Friday. Made a reservation and was seated close to the time. Our waitress was nice and helpful. I had the ham Cheese croissant with arugula salad. It was prefect size and filling. Of course it was quite a bit of bread but still had a decent amount of cheese and ham. The croissant was so good. The whole sandwich was good. Arugula salad was nice. I had the immunity shot. It did give me an initial jolt. I may start making these at home. Atmosphere was nice. Would definitely come back. This restaurant is frequently and highly recommended and I was not disappointed.
Food was great but service was lackluster. Went last night around 7 and I would estimate restaurant was about half full. Our server was nice but took forever for everything (food came out quick, not delivered by our server); basically had to chase him down just to pay the bill which was a bit frustrating. Will probably try again and hope for better service next time.
