There were plenty of options to choose from, and we look forward to returning to sample more. The menu was affordable, and they also had a good selection of drinks available. We were able to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace, and the staff were friendly. Overall, the atmosphere was relaxed and authentic. We had a great experience.

Service the attit... read more Four of us had the most delicious food we ever tasted in a Sri Lankan restaurant in the UK last night the cocktails are second to none either. Service the attitude of the friendly staff including the manager made the experience memorable. Thank you ' The Elephant ' ,we shall be back. Highly recommended.

I ordered the elephant takeaway and got really bad food poisoning from it. I contacted the restaurant and they were completely uninterested, didn’t even offer me a refund! My Sri Lankan friend came to stay a few weeks later and he wanted to try it even though I had warned him about my experience. He ordered a couple of starters and they all came out frozen. He obviously didn’t eat any of it , sent it back, and the staff were not at all apologetic! They even tried to make him pay for it Shocking service and shocking quality of food. A real shame as it had real potential. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40
