Got two coronas and beef chimichanga. The food, service, and decor was excellent. I would eat here everyday if I could... But Mexican food gets to me after awhile.....if you know what I mean? View all feedback.
What Anita Schiphoff doesn't like about El Tío Nachos:
Food was good, but everybody makes it sound like it's the only good Mexican restaurant in the area. Also they have the credit card machine right on the counter where you pay, but they don't want you to use it. Make sure you have cash or a check book. View all feedback.
They make the BEST guacamole! Service always fast and friendly.
El Tio Nachos is switching management soon so maybe this will require an update later. As of right now though the tacos are fantastic and the rice is always tasty. There's something about simple Mexican food that hits the spot and El Tio Nachos does just that. I'd say I've gotten their food 10+ times and it's always been delicious. My fiancée orders on a regular basis without me being present and she's never had a complaint. Consistently delicious food.
Always excellent food, sad that it's about to close but curious on what's going to open up in it's spot.
Best chicken Enchiladas I have had in Iowa! Friendly couple own and work the restaurant!
Nifty little Mexican restaurant. A bit on the 'rustic ' side but very good food. Run by an older couple. Casual and fairly quiet. Service is good but not fast food. Sit and soak up the ambiance! ; If you are in a hurry go to the robot Mikey-Dee 's down the road. Otherwise slow down and enjoy the food. Just a short drive off Hwy 60 into Sibley. Worth the detour. Apparently, they do accept credit cards but I suspect they appreciate cash.
