I visited this restaurant on a rainy Friday evening in November and was glad to discover a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant had a nice mix of tourists and locals, was dog-friendly, and had a lovely roaring log fire. All the staff were efficient and friendly. We were even treated to a group of folk musicians, which was a nice bonus. We enjoyed our meals and drinks. View all feedback. What fleurs111 doesn't like about The Blue Boar:
