What Minnou likes about At Goldstone Hall:
An absolutely superb evening from start to finish. We were here for a sadly diminished (in numbers) Diamond Wedding Anniversary celebration. The food was inventive, flavoursome and just the right quantity. Service was efficient and well paced. It was Michelin star quality, and even better for the fact that many of the ingredients come from their own garden. Highly recommended. View all feedback. What 1Cats1 doesn't like about At Goldstone Hall:
We booked weeks ago for Sunday lunch. They knew we were coming for our 1.30pm booking. We arrived at 1.20pm, ordered drinks, which came 20-25 mins later! Menus arrived at 1.50pm. Our starter was served at 2.30pm, unacceptable. The food was good, but we had a taxi booked for 4pm. That would have been plenty of time if we'd been served quicker, ie starters by 2pm. We had to rush our puds had no time for coffees etc. So... View all feedback.

read moreGoldstone Hall presents a complex dining experience, with reviews reflecting both stark criticisms and high praise. Guests have reported a range of meals from unimaginative starters and disappointingly dry main courses to beautifully prepared dishes reminiscent of Michelin star quality. Service has been inconsistent, with some finding it unfriendly and inattentive, while others experienced warmth and professionalism. The venue boasts beautiful gardens and a charming atmosphere, yet food quality and presentation have been deemed lacking at times. For those seeking an exceptional meal at a premium price, Goldstone Hall may offer moments of brilliance, but caution is advised.
