On entering the staff member who turns out to be the owner was incredibly rude and gave the Imp impression she did not want us to be there from the very start we asked simple things like a highchair and it was an obvious inconvenience to her. Will not be returning

Came here for brunch (since they’re renowned for it) and ordered... read more I’ve been to this place a good few times over the years and this visit was quite disappointing. Came here for brunch (since they’re renowned for it) and ordered a veggie full English. The platter came with one of the poached eggs already bursted, up to 4 leaves of spinach when it should’ve been a main feature from the description on the menu, 2x dry halloumi sticks (again, supposedly a main feature), and an unevenly browned toast that injured the inside of my mouth when I attempted to eat it. Service was quite slow on top of that as well despite it not being too busy. The atmosphere is fine and hasn’t changed much from when I knew it in the past, but the food seems to have declined in quality and standard and it no longer justifies the price (or the hype) nowadays.
