Contribute FeedbackThe French bistro, where the ambiance exudes a genuine French feel with attractive decor and lighting, may have left some diners slightly underwhelmed. Despite friendly staff and efficient service, the menu lacked traditional French dishes, with only the Duck impressing. Some diners experienced issues with booking through Open Table, while others found the noise level to be a bit much. However, highlights included flavorful food, attentive waitresses, and great value for money on certain nights. Overall, a decent choice for those seeking a French dining experience with some room for improvement.
I had built on the idea of a two cure meal of my choice x, but because the poor **** cook on itself was the £24.99 deal was sawed x three small? teller and a bottle wein for £24.99 x even if she had a solo dinner xx I enjoyed everything I could eat but had to end quite a bit x now not wrong with him just too much x
Very tasty eating, decent portions and friendly service.
Eating was amazing, super fresh and full of taste. we had a wonderful waitress. tall with glasses that was super friendly and went out of their way for us. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wanted to dip into a few French cuisine. ps. definitiw order the cream brulee.
Nice lunch, all freshly decorated and served by friendly staff.
Popped into Bistro Jacques on a off chance on a Monday lunchtime and was pleasantly surprised by the quick seating and service. The servers were polite and happy to help and although our food was quick to come out and our stay was short, we never felt rushed. We had the chicken and pasta pesto with garlic croute which was delicious, creamy and was in a appropriate portion for lunch. The ambience was relaxing and continental and the price point was very reasonable. Overall I liked Bistro Jacques and would come again.
