I finally had the chance to try it when I went by on a... read more I had been wanting to try this restaurant for years after reading a good review about it in a blog post. I finally had the chance to try it when I went by on a bike ride. Maybe the restaurant has changed over the years. The service was slow and offhand, leaving multiple finished plates on the table and letting them stack up, coming back and dropping off the entre plate at the edge of a table in an offhand way. The eel was priced high, but served on wilted lettuce and looked like it had been sitting around for hours and then warmed up. It also gave me a stomach ache. The salad also had a lot of wilted leaves, and the lemon egg soup looked like a ton of starch had been added to it (much more than usual). I paid about 2000 LEK for food of a quality I would never serve even to myself, not even if I was in a rush in my own kitchen with nobody looking. Then I waited an eternity for the check. I had thought this might become a place I could go to at times with my husband on date nights, but after this experience, I'm never going back. I don't usually take the time to leave negative reviews. Normally I just don't go back. But I literally woke up the next morning still moderately upset about this restaurant. There are many excellent restaurants in and around this town. This is not one of them.

We were impressed by the large portion sizes offered at a very reasonable price. Additionally, we received a complimentary birthday cake and espresso at the end, overlooking a beautiful landscape. We highly recommend this restaurant!
