Sunset Point Beach - Shelburne

We visited Sunset Beach in February when the entire area was blanketed in snow. Parts of the sea were frozen, and I wasn't sure if people could walk on the lake. The beach was stunning and serene. If you plan to visit in winter, please exercise caution as it may be slippery and there is a risk of falling.

Despite the chilly weather, it was a great spot for a leisurely stroll. The expansive view helped clear my mind and the ice sculptures formed by the sea waves were truly remarkable. I can't wait to come back in the early months of the year.

I have visited Sunset Point Beach in all four seasons, and it remains untouched in the winter and tropical during the summer. It is a lovely pebble beach with shallow waters perfect for swimming during the hot summer months. It is located very close to Waraga Beach and has a smaller park where you can enjoy a picnic. However, like many Ontario parks, the washrooms are closed during the winter.

I loved this place. has a great quiet beach and view. in summer it is super crowded, but the winter are less crowded. both weather conditions have their own charm. accessible to strollers. has some nice points for good photos.

Very beautiful place to take your dogs for a walk. Just have to watch out for the odd person to be walking their dogs off leash.
