The restaurant could use a slight renovation, as it hasn't been updated in a while, but the delicious food and great service more than compensate for it.

I have been going to Yankees for years, so when my family and friends wanted to treat me to a meal for my birthday (which was yesterday in March), they suggested taking me to a fancy Indian, Italian, or French restaurant. However, I insisted that Yankees is my favorite. It had been a while since my last visit, but I really wanted to go back for their delicious cheese sauce and generous burger portions. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed this time. The cheese sauce had changed, and the burgers and buns were much smaller than before. We ended up with a high bill (although we did have a lot of drinks and there were many of us), but the overall experience was expensive and the food was poor. I used to love going to Yankees, but now I feel like yet another piece of my past has been ruined. The cheese sauce tasted like Dairylea, and the buns and burgers were the size of something you would give to a child in a Happy Meal.
