This Japanese restaurant has different sections. One of it is for the Teppanyaki where they cook the meal in front of you with some showmanship. The other is food ordered from the menu.We went for the ala carte menu, and not Teppanyaki. Sushi was absolutely fresh and came served in a boat which was a nice touch. We had green tea which was nice and refreshing…. They didn’t even charge for a top up when our pot ran out... View all feedback.
This restaurant in Sheffield may just be the best. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is great. If you enjoy delicious food in a fantastic setting, this is the place to go!
For those unfamiliar with teppanyaki cuisine, do not be deterred by the idea of raw fish. All teppanyaki dishes are cooked on a hot griddle and are incredibly flavorful, thanks to the extensive training that teppanyaki chefs undergo. While dining at WasabiSabi may be a bit pricier than your average Chinese or Thai restaurant, it is well worth the cost for the unique experience and delicious food. It's a fantastic way to spend an evening.
I highly recommend the Teppanyaki section at Wasabisabi, where your meal is cooked in front of you on an open grill! It is a fun and entertaining experience, especially for large groups, and the chef will even interact with you by flipping food from the grill into your mouth. For my birthday, a group of us tried the Teppanyaki menu and we all loved it. The restaurant has an authentic Japanese atmosphere, and the other dining area is perfect for couples. The menu may be a bit expensive, but it is definitely worth it!

We all ordered different styles of their fried noodles or Udon and all were nicely cooked, with just the right amount of sauce etc. Ambience is nicely done with what feels like an authentic Japanese feel about it. Not the cheapest of place to eat…. But if you want quality you got to pay for it.
This is one of two Japanese restaurants in Sheffield. Its great because of the tepanyaki menu where someone cooks for you while you sit there. Its great watching thsi and the men are very entertaining, with the flames etc. Its expensive though.
