I feel I must review shaws as I have done in the past.in recent times I have said its the best but over the recent times it has been sold and there are new owners running it still under the name shaws I have given this place three goes now and that's it I won't be going back really poor now so after going there for many years disappointingly that's me done
Absolutely the best fish and chips in the area. We travel 10 miles brilliant fish. Large fish and chips feeds 2 people
I visited Shaw's for the first time since it changed ownership. The server was friendly, but the overall atmosphere felt quieter compared to before. The batter on the fish was wonderful—nice and crispy—but the chips were quite dry and had an unusual aftertaste, so I couldn't finish them. I really liked the original Shaw's because I sometimes have trouble with certain oil blends, and I never had any issues there since they used their own family recipe for the oil. Unfortunately, now I need to look for a new fish and chips place.

This has always been my favorite fish and chip shop, but I was really disappointed during my last visit. The chips were cold, dry, and seemed like they were double-cooked. I truly hope things improve there. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
