Feedback
Reviews for PizzaExpress are mixed: friendly staff, tasty pizzas and good value are praised, while reviewers note occasional slow service, cold dishes and takeaway packaging issues.
Visited in a largish group and the waitress (I believe her name was Izzy) was soo friendly! She really was lovely and made our experience an enjoyable one. Never had a bad experience at this or any Pizza Express restaurants! Always lovely food and service
It’s a really nice restaurant, lovely environment and staff. We ordered one Christmas pizza, tastes pretty good! Got free dough balls. That’s enough for two people! I’ll definitely come back and try other pizzas!!
Visited today 16/12/19 for lunch with my daughter and two year old granddaughter. We didn’t have time to dawdle as we had tickets for the panto which started at 13.00. The food was spot on but the service was amazing. The chap serving us was just lovely and he was so good with my granddaughter. (She was kept occupied with the puzzle book which she was given). He ensured we weren’t kept waiting for our food and we left in plenty of time. Thank you because we didn’t get your name.
The service was excellent, the view was beautiful, and the food was served quickly. I downloaded the app and received free dough balls. The pizzas were delicious, and my spinach and ricotta dish was amazing.

Frequent visitors praise a standout server by name who often shapes memorable visits, and the restaurant’s app has been used to deliver promotional freebies (like dough balls) to first-time users. On busy nights the upstairs dining area is commonly used for larger parties — a good tip is to confirm seating and pre-orders ahead of arrival to avoid billing mix-ups or colder plates.
