Nonna's Sheffield
Nonna's Sheffield
Description
Nonnas serves unenjoyable food with disappointing service. Rude staff, confusion over bookings, wrong orders, and chilly seating areas create an unpleasant atmosphere. While some dishes were tasty, excessive salt and mix-ups impacted the dining experience. On the bright side, the cafe offers friendly staff, great Italian fare, and a cozy atmosphere. Overall, Nonnas falls short of expectations, but still has some redeeming qualities.

An amazing place to visit. The service was very good especially the owner, very attentive and polite. The atmosphere was lovely and very welcoming. The food we had was superb. Everything was cooked perfectly and very balanced, which made the dishes a pleasure to eat and enjoy. The wine selection is also very good quality (it went down a little too well). Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for some of the best Italian food in the city.
Very enjoyable food, great service and an overall wonderful experience. Food is a little pricey, though. Would recommend the limoncello!
We went here for our anniversary date night and it was the best place to go! The food was incredible, service was great, the atmosphere was romantic, and the owner came by and said hello and was incredibly welcoming. Definitely our new go-to italian restaurant in Sheffield
A latte here comes as a single espresso shot, and is small. If you ask for an extra shot then you will pay £4.55 for a small latte. Far too much for Sheffield, even in 2024. I do like this place and will probably return but my experience the last couple of times has been spoilt by screaming children. It’s clearly a child friendly establishment but at the detriment of everyone else’s experience (for almost £5 a coffee I don’t want to be sitting in a crèche).
We felt really welcomed at Nonna's and had a lovely experience. Service was excellent, from staff who made every effort to ensure customer satisfaction. Highlights of the meal, where my wife's roast lamb dish, which was super tender and had great flavour, and the chocolate mousse dessert which was rich, indulgent and smooth. We had cocktails with our meal which were well made and packed a punch too Price per person: £60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
