All cooked really well... read more Had Breakfast on a Sunday morning. The extra £1 for the butchers sausage was well worth it… didn’t get indigestion, cos it’s proper food. All cooked really well and tasted great, but I have to add that the pot of tea is THE BEST pot I’ve ever had with a breakfast. How many breakfasts do you get where you think, they’ve boiled the kettle and then added the tea bags, so why not give me more water. Well you will never say here, it was endless and I think we both got 4 good cups out of it before it

The venue is great and the staff are always friendly but the last four out of five visits hav... read more I'm basing my review on not just one visit but my last few visits. The venue is great and the staff are always friendly but the last four out of five visits have been disappointing. Yesterday we had a table of five booked but the staff didn't seem to be expecting us. We were told to pick any table just not the only one that could have actually seated us all together, so we put 2 round tables together. None of the available tables were clean and the only cutlery was what had been left behind by previous customers. The music was quite loud and we couldn't have conversations across the 2 tables. The food was below average and only slightly warm. We didn't feel comfortable pointing any of the issues out to the staff members and to be fair they may have rectified the issues if we had have done so, but asking them to clean the tables and sending the cold food back just isn't something we felt comfortable doing. If this had been just a one off I wouldn't have left a review like this but these issues have happened more than once. I've always liked this venue and will keep returning because I do want to support local businesses, hopefully I'll be posting a more positive review soon.

Never ever put reviews but the only positive was young girl was really nice and welcoming.
