I recently tried the steak and Stilto... read more The pub has a great staff, beautiful relaxed atmosphere, and is dog friendly. The food is excellent, especially the cakes. I recently tried the steak and Stilton cake and it was delicious! The prices are a bit high in my opinion, but the drinks, including alcoholic drinks, are very reasonable. The workers seem to know everyone and are quick to offer water dishes for dogs. I personally wish they had a handcrafted beer on tap, such as a beautiful IPA or session ale. They have a variety of Cask Ales from Bradfield Brewery, including a Bradfield ale and Carlsberg. The pub has a large beer garden at the back and plenty of benches at the front. It gets very busy when the sun is out. If they had better selection of beers, including an IPA, King and Miller would be a 5-star pub all day!

Was in the opposite to visit family, and cried in the king miller. when we saw a board that said home cooked food, so we dived. the staff was super friendly, an... read more Was in the opposite to visit family, and cried in the king miller. when we saw a board that said home cooked food, so we dived. the staff was super friendly, and really helpful, and the atmosphere was friendly but eating! what we had was absolutely top-cision, proper home cooked chips, and the burgers we had were unreal! Sorry that we had no time to make any pictures, we have just in haha as family of 5 we were all very happy with our food order, and the price was really good. also the local camp they store....Is a bangin pint for £2,50 a pop! many thanks for a great afternoon, hope to see yas again soon
