The pizzas were quite nice though, but not a lot of topping. It was very busy and when we went with society groups.

Excellent hot sandwich style eats. Very helpful bar man explained the beer styles they normally have impressive and very good value indeed.

The beer garden is fanta... read more The best SU I have ever been to. Visited in May 2018 for the beer festival. Struck lucky with it being the warmest weekend of the year. The beer garden is fantastic, the best in Sheffield I'd have said. 5 real ales all sub £3.00 and kept well. Limited food menu but great food and good value. Pizza and a pint for £7.95, can't go wrong. The staff are polite and the toilets are clean. A good crowd and mix of ages. Well recommend.

They gave me an... read more I am vegetarian and gluten-free, and they excluded the potato wedges from my meal, telling me they have gluten on them, which I did not expect. They gave me an even bigger salad to account for this. The food was delicious AND fit my tricky eating habits. They had live music the night I went, and tons of people were there dancing and enjoying the music. Great place to eat or have a drink and hang out.
